On February 21, a delegation of procurement representatives from well-known enterprises in Mongolia visited China Coal Group to conduct in-depth investigations and discussions on the procurement cooperation of mining equipment and engineering machinery, including ultra-long single hydraulic supports with a support height of 5 meters, intelligent excavators, and environmentally friendly electric forklifts. Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at China Coal Group, Yu Cui, Executive Vice General Manager and E-commerce General Manager, and Zhang Hang, Deputy General Manager, accompanied and received the delegation throughout the visit. Both parties ultimately signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement, further consolidating the cooperation achievements between China and Mongolia in the field of mining equipment.
The delegation first visited the China Coal Group's intelligent manufacturing achievement exhibition hall, digital workshop, and intelligent equipment production line, focusing on observing the production process of ultra-high and ultra-strong single hydraulic supports. The staff provided a detailed introduction to the technical parameters of the single hydraulic support with a support height of 5 meters: this product is a high-end mining equipment carefully developed by China Coal Group in response to the high performance requirements of modern mining operations. This support not only has an ultra-high support height, capable of meeting the mining needs of deep ore layers, but also has a strong load-bearing capacity, ensuring safety and stability during the mining process. The delegation highly recognized China Coal Group's strict quality inspection process and intelligent production technology, and praised its core concept of 'driving safety with technology.'
In addition, the delegation also inspected the production workshops of excavators and electric forklifts. The intelligent excavators independently developed by China Coal Group have won unanimous praise from customers for their efficient operation capabilities and low energy consumption design, as well as the environmental performance and flexible maneuverability of electric forklifts.
At the negotiation meeting, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding Mongolia's mining development needs. The representative of the Mongolian merchants stated that the ultra-high support equipment purchased this time will be used for underground operations in the country's large coal mines, while electric forklifts and excavators will serve the transportation and infrastructure projects in open-pit mining areas. Based on the successful experience of China Coal Group previously supplying rails and switches for the railway project from the Tavan Tolgoi coal mine in Mongolia to the China-Mongolia border, both parties quickly reached a consensus and signed a long-term cooperation agreement covering equipment procurement, technical support, and after-sales service.
This cooperation not only continues the close collaboration between China and Mongolia under the 'Belt and Road' framework, but also marks the further opening of the Mongolian market for China Coal Group's high-end mining equipment, laying the foundation for subsequent expansion into Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
As a designated production unit for specialized coal mining equipment in the country, China Coal Group has always focused on technological innovation and quality safety. The ultra-high single hydraulic support purchased this time has obtained the national safety mark certificate for mining products, and its improved design overcomes the shortcomings of traditional supports, combining the advantages of lightweight and high stability. In addition, the group's full-chain quality control system from research and development to production provides a solid guarantee for the efficient operation of the equipment.
Mr. Li stated that the group will uphold the concept of 'customer first, service global,' continuously increasing investment in the research and development of intelligent and green technologies to provide international customers with safer and more efficient solutions. In the future, China Coal plans to establish a regional service center in Mongolia to further shorten response times and enhance local service capabilities, assisting in the modernization and upgrading of Mongolia's mining industry.
This visit not only highlights China Coal Group's leading position in the global mining equipment sector but also serves as another model for international capacity cooperation under the 'Belt and Road' initiative. Both parties will take this cooperation as an opportunity to jointly explore new paths for intelligent and green development in the mining industry.
