How to Operate Automatic Mortar Jetting Machines?

What Are the Precautions for Operating Automatic Mortar Jetting Machines?

The China Coal Group, a leading manufacturer of Automatic Mortar Jetting Machines, introduces the following operation guide and safety precautions to ensure efficient and safe use.

Operation Guide

  1. Oil Injection Before Startup

    • Press the manual oil pump several times before starting the machine to lubricate the transmission parts.
  2. Check Motor Rotation

    • After turning on the power, inspect the main motor to ensure the rubber spiral rotates in the correct direction.
    • If the rotation is incorrect, adjust the power supply phase. Perform this check every time the power is reconnected.
  3. Prepare the Machine for Use

    • Connect the feeding hose and nozzle.
    • Add 5L of clean water to the hopper, start the motor, and clear the water pump. Wet the hopper, pump body, and hose by pumping water through the system. Stop once most of the water is pumped out.
  4. Add Mortar and Start Spraying

    • Add cement mortar to the hopper.
    • Start the air compressor, open the air valve, and begin spraying.
  5. Avoid Dry Operation

    • Never allow the machine to idle without material or water in the hopper.
  6. Cleaning After Work

    • Drain the hopper after completing the work. Fill the hopper with fresh water and run the pump to clean the hose and nozzle thoroughly. Continue until the water pumped out is clear to avoid material solidification, which could block hoses and spray heads.
  7. Maintenance During Downtime

    • For extended downtime, clean the machine, remove the booster screw, apply oil, and store it properly. Reinstall before the next use.
  8. Adjusting Pressure

    • If the machine experiences insufficient pressure during operation, adjust the booster stator bolts or replace the pressurized rubber sleeves and booster worms.
  9. Surface Preparation and Spraying Technique

    • Wet the area to be sprayed before starting.
    • Maintain the nozzle as vertical as possible to the surface and adjust the spraying distance as needed.
    • Spray evenly in layers and coordinate with flattening processes. Avoid spraying on overly dry surfaces or leaving paint for too long, as this affects leveling.
  10. Uniform Material Feeding

  • Feed the hopper uniformly without interruptions.
  • Never stir the material in the hopper with sticks while the conveyor screw is rotating to prevent injury.
  1. Unblocking Spray Pipes
  • If a blockage occurs, switch to manual mode and activate only the compressor.
  • Disconnect the quick connector at the pump head, block the spray head downward, and let air pressure reverse the blockage out. Reconnect and resume operation.
  1. Wear Protective Equipment
  • Always wear safety helmets, protective glasses, and clothing when operating the machine.
  1. Replace Worn Parts
  • Pressurized rubber sleeves and booster screws are wearing parts. To extend their lifespan:
    • Keep the booster stator bolts loose during initial use.
    • Adjust the bolts when pressure and flow rate decrease to maintain normal working conditions.

Conclusion

By following these operation and maintenance guidelines, Automatic Mortar Jetting Machines can deliver optimal performance and ensure user safety. Proper care, regular maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols will prolong the machine’s lifespan and maximize efficiency on construction sites.
