2. Adjust paint viscosity

3. Control of coating environmental conditions

During the period from spraying to the surface of the coating being dry, it should avoid rainy days and weather with high wind speed and heavy sand.

3. Painting operation

The coating operation is mainly a problem of the operation and use of the spray gun. Improper use of the spray gun will cause coating coating defects. The coating defects are mainly manifested in three aspects: First, the coating is uneven, mainly manifested as stubble marks , Inconsistent coating color, poor coating smoothness, etc. Second, the coating is too thick, mainly manifested as sagging, the surface of the coating is dry but the deep layer is not dry, and the phenomenon of coating skinning occurs. Third, the coating is too thin; the main performance is that the coating does not reach the required thickness after the conventional spray coating.


The operation of the spray gun should pay attention to three issues

1. Gun distance

The distance between the spray gun mouth of the mortar spraying machine and the surface to be coated is called the gun distance, and the gun distance is preferably 300 ~ 400mm. The gun distance is too small, the spray pressure is too large, and the recoil force is also large, which is prone to uneven coating, and the spray width (fan width) is small, which causes too much local spraying of the coated object and the coating film is too thick. If the gun distance is too large, the spraying pressure loss is large, the paint is easy to be scattered, and the spraying width is too large, so that the local sprayed material is too little, and the coating film cannot meet the thickness requirements.

2. Angle of spraying fan

The spraying fan surface and the surface to be coated should be perpendicular to each other. When manually operating the spray gun, it should be noted that the spraying width should not be too large, otherwise the angle of the spraying fan surface will change significantly due to the inconvenience of operation, resulting in uneven coating.

3. Running direction and speed of spray gun

The running direction of the spray gun should always be parallel to the surface to be coated and perpendicular to the surface of the spraying fan to ensure the uniformity of the coating. The operating speed of the spray gun should be stable, preferably 300 ~ 400mm / s. The running speed is unstable, the coating thickness is uneven, if the running speed is too fast, the coating is too thin, and if it is too slow, the coating is too thick.
